DAG KAYAKS NSW AUSTRALIACLICK HERE FOR PRICES

DAG, an adventure for sportsmen and enthusiasts, was born in 1975, when Gil Guillard, a national level competitor made his first kayaks in composite materials. In the 1980s, the GIL competition kayaks, combining all disciplines, won it the World Manufacturers Champion title (1987) with 19 athletes winning medals in the World Championship. A success that marked the beginning of a major development.

1990, a new turning. DAG moves to Saint-Jean-le-Centenier, in the heart of Southern Ardèche, the European canoeing fief. For a single reason: to be closer to the professionals (rentals) and respond better to their needs and the expectations of their more and more numerous customers. 1991, the first rotational molding machine then opens the modern rental era. New products, new performance, new technologies. DAG quickly becomes the reference and becomes established as the leading French rodeo manufacturer, a white water discipline. This is also the period in which Gilbert’s son, Cédric, himself also a competitor, rejoins the company and attacks opening the market to the public and retaining this position as leader. The range is enlarged to include new sit-on-top models and towards the  sea kayak. Not surprising that DAG are now recognised worldwide with 25 to 30% of our annual turnover achieved for export.

Continuous development and growth, destinations such as Australia, New Caledonia, Chile, the USA, throughout Europe, and recently in Japan, unavoidable reference products in the kayak world ((the Tribal, the Tarka, the Midway or even the latest generation sit-on-top with the 1st kayak in the range for children, the SX 230.), so many proofs of the success of "made in Ardèche" resulting from enthusiasm, reason and professionalism.

After more than twenty models DAG defines itself as the number 1 generalist, a dynamic and innovative company, and our customers will not contradict this. Try one of our models and you will understand.
